If you are going to have twins, or you already have one child who still uses a pushchair or a pram, and are expecting another soon, then you might be going to need a double pushchair. These can also be known as double buggies, doubles prams or twin strollers. Getting one of these can solve a lot of your problems and make it very easy to carry two kids around with you all day. They are usually very mobile, and they keep your kids safe. There is nothing worse than trying to control two kids, and two single pushcahirs just won't cut it. So, if you are expecting to have two young children anytime soon, you better start looking for your own double pushchair! For first time mums, especially those with twins, a double pushchair can be a life saver. How else are you going to get both your kids around when you need ot get the daily chores done, they won't walk themselves. Double pushchairs have come a long way in the last few years and are now much more mobile and easy to push around. However there are still a few things you need to take into consideration when you are going to buy a pushchair for you and your kids.

The Right Double Buggy For You

You need to find the right one for you, and often it is not easy to do, especially for first time mothers. There are many different styles of double pushchairs out there and finding the right one for you is possible, if you know exactly hat you are looking for. There are pros and cons of the double pushchair. There are many different styles available. There are lightweight versions for people who are more on the run, or even want to take their children exercising with them. There are all terrain wheeled double pushchairs for people that want to go off road a little with their kids. If you are going to the park and you don't have the right wheels it can be a massive strain trying to push two kids in a double pushchair around and it might just end up being more work than you can handle.

It can be difficult at some times getting through doors with your pushchair, and difficult to steer around narrow pavement. These however are unavoidable and if you have two small kids and need a double pram then it is simply something that you will have to handle. You will also find that the seats on a double pushchair are often more narrow than other styles. This can be a little uncomfortable for your child when he or she gets a little bit older. But hopefully by then you won't even need a double pushchair!

Old Style Double Pushchairs

Here is a video that shows you the advancement in techonolgy, and how it has affected the doulbe stroller. This is a video of a really old style pram, compare to the picture above and you can see that technology is developing in prams as well, and in ten years, who knows, we may have a super pushchair on our hands!
